AGRI & ECO-TOURISM
Bryan and Melanie Ego and their young family are the proud operators of this Pick-Your-Own and fresh produce farm since 2011. Located at 82 Horseshoe Valley Road, E. (between Lines 7 & 8) at Coulson, the farm overlooks the rolling hills of Oro-Medonte. Coulson Ridge is a “sibling farm” to Ego’s Nurseries! Bryan is Kristin’s younger brother and they grew up working together in the family business. Coulson Ridge Farm produces a variety of farm fresh fruits and vegetables. The main crops include strawberries, asparagus, raspberries, sweet corn, tomatoes and garlic which are available seasonally at our Market shop (next to the greenhouses) and at local farmers’ markets. They also offer PYO (Pick-Your-Own) strawberries and raspberries in season.
Located in the beautiful hills of Oro-Medonte Ontario, we produce quality Beef, Pork, and Maple Syrup from our family farm, founded in 1831.
Saskia and Hans Sloeserwij arrived in Canada from Holland in 2008. As they adjusted to their new life in Canada, they found themselves missing the European style cheeses they grew up with. Back in Holland, Saskia and Hans created amazing cheeses using local ingredients and traditional European processes, but they couldn’t find similar products in Canada. They felt like the Canadian market lacked “authentic, traditional, European cheeses”. In an effort to fill a gap in the market, Saskia and Hans took it upon themselves to create those cheeses that they missed so dearly, calling their new business Say Cheese. Say Cheese uses the same process for its sheep cheese as is traditionally used for making Gouda. Their sheep cheese is produced as a medium firm cheese which is similar to the Dutch Gouda.

Welcome to Quayle’s, a farm brewery unlike any you have ever seen. Our dream was to create a world class hop yard and farm brewery, where we could craft the finest beers, from start to finish. Quayle’s Brewery, is nestled in the hills of Oro-Medonte, Ontario between lower Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe, a short drive from Toronto and only 9 minutes from Orillia. With its peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and rich history, it is the perfect setting to brew our craft beer. We use our own spring water and farm fresh hops to create a lasting farm-to-glass experience. We overlook more than 12 acres of hop yards, sitting atop a picturesque hillcrest. Wanting to celebrate our local history, the brewery was built in 2016 as a re-creation of a 19th century local landmark, the Musical Barn. Our barn features a large outdoor patio, tasting room, acoustic lounge, and indoor/outdoor event space. It is here that our talented, local, award-winning brewing and production team refine our hops into a variety of outstanding Quayle’s beer. We have a pilot system and a full production system on-site, and offer new varieties of fresh beer regularly. Mix and match, and give us your […]
