Looking for a little fright this fall? Head to Coldwater this October for The Haunted Mill, a spooky walk-through experience guaranteed to bring some screams, surprises and Halloween fun to the season.
Taking place at the historic Coldwater Heritage Mill, the Haunted Mill will run for four weekends in October, with scares happening every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. The event kicks off Friday, October 9, with additional dates on October 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31.
This walk-through jump-scare experience has grown over the past few years. The event began when Scream Shack organizer Colin Laughlin approached the Mill about creating a small outdoor scare walk during Witches Walk. The following year, the experience expanded inside the Mill onto the upper level and this year, visitors can expect an even bigger opportunity to get their Halloween fright on.
With an affordable $10 admission, the Haunted Mill is an easy addition to a fall evening in Coldwater. Bring your friends, family or fellow Halloween enthusiasts and see if you can make it through without jumping!
The Haunted Mill is also a great way to experience the Coldwater Heritage Mill, which has become much more than a historic site. Today, the Mill operates as a non-profit community hub, hosting events and activities that bring people together throughout the year.
From Family Fun Day and inflatables during Duck Race Day to the summer Friday Night Live concert series, Christmas markets, weddings and community gatherings, the Mill continues to be a place where locals and visitors can connect, celebrate and make memories.
