All-Natural Body Care

Grizzly Naturals Beard Co. is a new business based in Sugarbush offering beard care products that use top-notch, all-natural ingredients. Grizzly Naturals Beard Co. began out of a belief that what you put on your body matters. Farm Fresh Honey

This just in… local seasonal honey is now for sale!

McCutcheon’s Apiary (the same folks that produce McCutcheon’s fine maple syrup) now has small batches of wild blossom honey available for sale at their farm gate location.  Beamish Honey based in Horseshoe Valley offers premium craft unfiltered raw honey at their location and at Dwellings retail store in Craighurst.

Belgian Chocolates

If you haven’t yet tried handmade Belgian truffles and chocolates, you are missing out on something special! Oro-Medonte’s finest chocolatier creates small batch gourmet chocolates and candy creations that are perfect for a gift or a special treat for yourself.

Visit the new Chelsea Chocolates retail location at the main four corners in Craighurst to get ready-made chocolates or place custom orders. Look out for exciting flavour collaborations with various local producers. New novelty items are coming out all the time!

Sweet Maple Syrup

Oro-Medonte is one of the sweetestest townships around. Tasty and healthy (yes, you read that right!) maple syrup is produced at a collection of farms in the township and sold year round (based on availability).  Check out high-quality maple syrup products from Elsie’s Creek Farm​, Hutchinson Maple Syrup (ask about their maple butter and jams too), McCutcheon’s Maple Syrup​, McNiven Farms, Shaw’s Maple Syrup & Catering, Sugar Sweet Farms and Steamy Kettle Sugar Bush.

Raise a glass to our fabulous beer, cider and wine producers from the comfort of your home or with a visit to Quayle’s Brewery and Heritage Estate Winery & Cidery.

At Quayle’s Brewery, expert brew-masters are creating premium craft brews including IPA’s, lagers, pilsners, sours, porter and more, ensuring that there is a drink to suit any person’s tastes. Sample a local brew in the spacious new outdoor beer garden, order from Quayle’s seasonal food menu or take home some cans to go! Or, swing by and do a tasting of their Heirloom Apple Cider, Vidal Blanc, Sparkling Apple Wine and more. Visit Your Local Farmer’s Markets

Oro-Medonte Farmer’s Market every Thursday starting at 2pm at the Oro Fairgrounds, check the Facebook Page for the Oro-Medonte Chamber for up-to-date hours.  The market welcomes families and makes it easy and fun to support local farmers and purchase locally produced products. The market features locally grown produce and farm products, baked goods, preserves, fresh foods, crafters, and artisans. Since its grand opening in early July, it has been steadily adding new vendors and experiences for visitors. The market hopes to runs weekly until the end of September, so don’t miss out!
