The Art Gallery of Washago is a showcase of original artwork from our diverse artists in the greater Washago area, presented and maintained by the Washago Art Club. In our gallery you will find ‘one of a kind’ artwork ranging from nature inspired abstracts to vibrant florals and soft watercolours. Our gallery also showcases fused glass, wood turned and whittled wood pieces among other hand crafted items. Both the Gallery and Club are not-for-profit organizations.

Another gem within the Township of Severn is located on the shores of Lake Couchiching and the gateway to the Trent-Severn Waterway. The Township of Severn welcomes you to 21 acres of public parkland in Washago to enjoy a peaceful picnic, leisurely swim, or just relax and watch the world go by! Playground, outdoor fitness equipment, pavilion, ball diamond and dog park are just some of the amenities located in the park. Boat launching is also available at the Municipal Dock located at the end of Quetton Street! Bring along your canoe, kayak or SUP and tour the North end of Lake Couchiching and plan a visit to the village of Washago. Washago Centennial Park includes a beach where visitors can relax, swim and enjoy the warm weather. Before visiting the beach, we recommend that you check the beach water quality. Beach water quality is tested weekly by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and sampling results can be viewed on their website. This park is maintained by the Township of Severn
