Top 5 Resorts To Bring Your Family This Summer

Good news! The Orillia & Lake Country region is now able to safely welcome overnight guests to its family-friendly resorts. Updated safety protocols have been implemented to protect resort guests and staff, allowing visitors of all ages to get away from home and enjoy some much-needed outdoor fun.

Several resorts in the area are now accepting reservations. This means you and your loved ones can get away for a vacation and go hiking, go for a swim, take in picturesque lake views and let someone else cook for a change, all while safely enjoying some much-needed down time.

The following five resorts are working to provide you with a safe environment that aligns with current public safety protocols:

Bayview Wildwood Resort

Soak in the Muskoka style atmosphere at this classic lakefront resort now offering self-catering cottages with kitchenettes and BBQs. Resort amenities currently include outdoor pool, beach, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, boat rentals, bikes and more!

The resort is also offering daily activities including supervised children’s activities (parents rejoice!) and takeout food & beverage from the outdoor patio. Resort staff are sanitizing all PFD’s, watercraft and equipment in between uses. To help ensure the safety and comfort of guests, semi private bonfire areas have been set up all throughout the large property, and an additional beach area is being set up to add more space.
