A Breath of Fresh Air ,conveniently located at Couchiching Beach Park in Orillia, provides ice hut rentals on Lake Couchiching, which is a subsidiary of Lake Simcoe. The easy access huts, equipped with wood stoves provide the visitor an opportunity to fish for perch and pike. During the summer A Breath of Fresh Air provides kayak and SUP rentals to those wishing to enjoy the waters and beautiful scenery of Lake Couchiching. Whether it be for a day of relaxing recreation, a family outing, or a day of fishing, come out and enjoy the great outdoors in Ontario’s Lake Country. Visit Couchiching Beach Park between the main beach and the Port of Orillia you will find A Breath of Fresh Air’s kiosk right in the park, there is lots of free parking and great rates available. You can also access the park through the paved bike trails in Orillia.

Follow Waterview Trail and learn how Bass Lake park, a farm for more than 100 years, was transformed to a recreational area. Just west of Orillia – close to historic Huronia – it is a popular spot for swimming, hiking, fishing and boating. Its fields and trails are good for skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Bass Lake offers canoe, kayak, paddle boats and stand up paddle board rentals.

Wye Marsh is the place to escape, explore, and experience nature up close. Located in the Heart of Georgian Bay on 3,000 acres of National & Provincial Wildlife Area, your natural adventure begins at Wye Marsh.
