This summer OMAH’s popular guided downtown walking tour returns. Gangs, Guns and Grog is themed around Orillia in the 1870s, a time in which there was a licensed pub for every 150 citizens and it was legal to carry a loaded and concealed firearm. 1870s Orillia was chaos, and we are so excited to tell you all about it every Wednesday night! Guests are invited to join us for an outdoor (or indoor, in the case of inclement weather) painting experience at the Leacock Museum! Participants will be guided through basic colour theory for mixing colours. M Nowick will start with teaching some techniques for composing a landscape. A focus will be on creative expression for completing the scene. Inspiration will be taken from nature surrounding the Leacock Museum. Come paint the views of Old Brewery Bay! Space is very limited for these workshops.
