Join us for an evening of art and celebration! Mariposa Arts Theatre (MAT) presents QUEER CABARET, on Saturday, June 10 at 7:30pm at the Mariposa Arts Theatre Centre. Featuring drag artists, singers, poets and more, come out and enjoy local talent and celebrate Pride Month in style.
Performers include Champagne Top’Her, with a decade of experience in Halifax creating show stopping performances and now a member of Muskoka Drag Royalty. Non-binary drag performer Themme brings their signature blonde wig and love of Taylor Swift to the stage. Two-Spirit drag artist Rodayasha Red Ashes will also delight the crowd with their performance.
Musical performances will include songs performed by Richard Birch and Josh Halbot. Halbot most recently performed as Riff-Raff in MAT’s smash-hit The Rocky Horror Show.
Poets Mitch Gibbons and Amy Miller will grace the stage with their words in thoughtful and powerful spoken word.
