Passport to Nature: Paddle Party on The Black River

August 5, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Led by Phil Careless, we will paddle from the Rosebush Landing to the foot of Ragged Rapids and back.  Bring your own canoe or kayak.   Life jackets are mandatory and must be worn.  You may want to bring a lunch to snack upon at Ragged Rapids. We will attempt to identify species from the level of the river.  Dress for the weather and bugs.

The Reid Reserve is one of our wildest properties, at 729-acres, it’s connected to the Queen Elizabeth Wildlands Provincial Park. Register fast – this event is popular! Intermediate skill set. Registration is required.
