Heather Bambrick is a JUNO-nominated vocalist who has collaborated with Phil Nimmons, Fred Hirsch, Gene DiNovi, Guido Basso, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard the TSO, and Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and many more. For more than 18 yrs Heather has been a highly-popular award-winning host on JAZZ.FM91.
Diane Leah is an experienced pianist, arranger, and Music Director with credits that span forty years in Canadian music. She performed with her own jazz vocal group “Cloudburst” and acted as Music Director for Catherine McKinnon and Don Harron from 1983 – 2000. As Music Director / pianist for Tony Award-nominated Louise Pitre (Mame, Mama Mia), Diane has performed in various concert formats, from duo to symphony orchestra, throughout Canada and the U.S.
Julie Michels was born in New Jersey and raised in Germany, Scotland, France, and throughout the U.S. before settling in Toronto, Canada. Her travels instilled a wanderlust as well as an insatiable curiosity for the cultures and musical genres that would help mould her musical career. Julie has worked with some of the top names in several genres of the music business including the Chicago Free Jazz Movement, Don Braden, Joe Sealy, Kahil El’Zabar, Robi Botos, Larnell Lewis, George Koller, and many others. Her recording projects include Come Together with Don Braden, Bass and Voice and Singing Naked with George Koller, and She Sings He Plays and Live at Statlers with Kevin Barrett. She has also done work with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, the Toronto Tabla Ensemble, the Madison Celtic Renaissance Consort, and JazzWorks Music Camp, and she played a major role in the filming of “Amazing Voice”, Japan’s national television documentary about the diverse face of Canadian Music.
