Pride Weekend at Horseshoe Valley

January 17 - January 19

We’re big fans of being “out”. Join us for our third annual Pride Winter Celebration at Horseshoe Valley Resort from January 17-19, 2025.

Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant burst of colour and join us for a spectacular Pride Weekend at Horseshoe! This is your chance to showcase your true colours and celebrate diversity and inclusivity together. We welcome all to adventure outdoors and enjoy exploring all Horseshoe has to offer.

In addition to our daily resort outdoor activities, there will be events for guests and the local community to enjoy as follows:

Friday, January 17, 2024 – Trivia hosted by Drag Queen Ivory Towers

Test your knowledge at this trivia night inside our Ski Chalet at 7PM. Returning to Horseshoe Valley Resort, Ivory Towers will be hosting a general knowledge quiz in full drag. This event is for all ages. Awesome prizes will be awarded to the top scoring team, including a two night stay for four people. Tickets are being sold in advance online for $15 each plus HST and fees.

Saturday, January 18, 2024 –  Glow Tubing Night

Guests are invited to experience the thrill of glow tubing at Horseshoe Valley Resort between 5PM-9PM. The evening includes complimentary glow sticks for participants and live music mixed by DJ Ryan Dumais at the Tack Shop tubing base. Riders must be 42 inches or taller to participate. Two-hour tubing tickets are being sold in advance online for $49 each plus HST and fees.

Rainbow Weekend

Guests are encouraged to wear their most colourful gear while adventuring and enjoying the live DJ on the Après Patio with bonfires, snacks and festive beverages.

Experience the “Winter’s Love” Mural

Admire the beauty and take a photo next to the colourful mural titled “Winter’s Love” designed by illustrator Shawn Howe (they/them). Shawn is an Ojibwe, queer non-binary, neurodivergent, disabled person residing in Toronto. They come from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation, with membership in Sipekne’katik First Nation. Shawn draws inspiration from their culture, community, kin and queerness.

Pride Week events are open to all guests and community members. Tickets are required for trivia. Snow tubing tickets and lift tickets are required for access to glow tubing, other winter activities and ski slopes.
