Delicious Days of Summer Returns to Downtown Orillia This June
If there is one event that perfectly captures the spirit of summer in Orillia and Lake Country – “The Culinary Capital of Cottage Country, it is Delicious Days of Summer.
Returning to Downtown Orillia on June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this vibrant community celebration transforms Mississaga Street between Front Street and Albert Street into a bustling marketplace filled with local flavour, creativity, and talent from across Simcoe County.
Created by local entrepreneurs Jessi of My Best Friends Cupcakes and Mark of Sugar Dessert Bar, Delicious Days of Summer was born from a simple idea: showcase the incredible small businesses, artisans, bakers, artists, makers, and food vendors that make our region so special.
What started as a grassroots community event has quickly become one of the most anticipated summer events in Orillia. Last year, more than 3,000 visitors attended and explored over 50 vendor booths. This year, the event is expanding in a big way, with more than 120 vendors expected to line the streets of Downtown Orillia.
Visitors can spend the day sampling delicious treats, discovering unique handmade goods, supporting local businesses, and meeting the talented people behind some of the areas favourite brands. From sweet desserts and gourmet foods to handcrafted art, home décor, gifts, and one-of-a-kind creations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the shopping and food, Delicious Days of Summer is a celebration of community. It is an opportunity to connect with local makers, support small businesses, and experience the welcoming atmosphere that makes Orillia and Lake Country such a special destination.
