Soldiers’ Ride is an annual cycling event, designed to challenge and inspire riders of all levels while supporting the greatest needs at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. This year’s event takes place on Sunday June 7th, 2026. Riders can chose three distance options—30km, 50km, or 100km.
Starting at Quayle’s Brewery, cyclists set off through the stunning landscapes of North Simcoe and Muskoka. Whether you are here for a leisurely ride or pushing for a personal best, you’ll be surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery Ontario has to offer.

Every piece of medical equipment, every staff training program, every security upgrade at a hospital costs money, and not all of it comes from government funding. That is where Soldier’s Ride comes in.
The Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation raises essential funds for the things that keep Orillia’s hospital running at its best: equipment purchases and upgrades, education, specialized programs, IT infrastructure, and more. And one of our favourite ways to bring the community together for this cause? Soldiers’ Ride.
