This club has been established to protect and build recreational mountain bike trails for mountain bikers in Simcoe County. We currently have a trail inventory of approximately over 100 KM of singletrack trail and growing. With authority to build new trail, 3 active builds are taking place. Current trail systems are located in Oro-Medonte, Severn Township and on the border of Midland, Penetanguishene and Tiny Township. We welcome and encourage all recreational mountain bikers to be involved and participate in the protection and enjoyment of your trails. Simcoe County Mountain Bike Club just finished a 75 foot bridge in our Oro Creeks build. Stringers are Salvaged Cedar from the property and the decking is European Larch we purchased from a local mill with our MEC Dirt Search winnings. Thanks Mountain Equipment Coop. The European Larch was an imported species that was planted by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in the early 1900’s to restore sandy wastelands that could not sustained agriculture. You are all welcome to visit us for a ride. We have lots of sweet hand built single track for your enjoyment. Support the club and purchase your membership online today.
