NORTHWOODS CARVINGS

Marc Degagne is a master carver. He creates unique wildlife carvings in beautiful woods. It’s the natural beauty of wood that inspires him. The woods that he uses to create his pieces, are indigenous to this area. He carves on reclaimed woods, burls and knolls, much of which he purchase from a local arborist. The stones and driftwood used for bases are collected from the shores of nearby lakes. Many other bases are branches and pieces from the forest that surrounds us.
