Geocaching is an incredible treasure hunt for all ages and there are TONS of caches in Oro-Medonte just waiting to be discovered. There are some rules and guidelines to being a “geocacher”. Here is a great article to get you started in this adventure: Geocaching 101. Remember to dress for the weather AND the terrain (sometimes caches are hidden off trail), bring snacks, water and a car charger for your phone, as the geocaching app is power intensive. Make sure to plan a stop at some local businesses along the way.


Suit up and hit the slopes for the day or strap on some snowshoes or cross country skis and explore the beauty of the Copeland Forest in the winter.
