Orillia Scottish Festival

A Highland Tradition Rooted in Community

Since 1978, the Orillia Scottish Festival has been more than just a weekend event – it’s a multigenerational celebration that’s become a cornerstone of summer in Orillia, founded by Duncan Fleming, Pipe Major of the Orillia Pipe Band. Every third weekend in July families return year after year, sharing the experience with children, grandchildren and friends from near and far. Whether you’re of Scottish descent or simply Scottish-at-heart, this festival offers a one-of-a-kind experience steeped in heritage, music and fun.
