Did you know that dragonflies can fly upside down, backwards, straight up or down and they can also hover! Females will hover over water until they find the perfect spot and then dip the tip of their abdomens into the water to lay their eggs. Join us on Wednesday July 24th to learn more about these fascinating, prehistoric insects. Bob Bowles will teach us the difference between a dragonfly and a damselfly, their life cycles and with his catching net you’ll be able to get up close and personal with these beautiful insects. Enjoy a unique and educational experience and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world around you. Children 5 and under are free. 6-17 $15.00
