The 23rd Annual Coldwater Studio Tour is just a few weeks away! On June 21 and 22 from 10am-4pm experience the art of 39 talented artists from Coldwater and the surrounding area, at 8 venues throughout the picturesque village.
Coldwater has a vibrant community of fine artists working in a diverse variety of visual art formats including oil, acrylic, glass, fibre, clay, wood, metal and more. The talented artists of the region are world class and utilize the beauty and character of the area to inspire their work. The tour is an opportunity to visit the charming village of Coldwater, voted one of the top quaint towns in Ontario, see historic venues that host our artists and visit their working studios to discuss artwork, technique and inspiration.
The Coldwater Studio Tour features guests artists at the Coldwater Mill, Legion, Canadiana Heritage Museum, and Community Center. The tour also includes stops at 3 studios where you can get a glimpse into the artists creative process and shop for the perfect original piece of art. There is a free shuttle running between all locations of the tour daily, until 3:30 pm.
After your tour be sure to spend some time enjoying the charming village of Coldwater. Enjoy lunch on the patio by the river, grab coffee at a cozy cafe, tour the unique shops and get to know what makes this village so special. On Saturday, the fun continues into the evening with a Midsummer Night’s Drum & Bonfire at the Canadiana Museum. Bring your drums, guitars and songs for a celebration of midsummer and the longest night of the year. Camping is available.

Come to the Coldwater Duck Race on May 31st and take part in the Lucky Art Duck Silent Auction running from 11am -2pm behind the Coldwater Mill. The artists of the Coldwater Studio Tour have been busy creating hand painted ducks, all large enough to display in your yard or window, to show your support for the Coldwater Duck Race. Each duck is an original piece of art from the creative minds of the local artists of the tour. Come and bid on these wonderful ducks. It will be a quacking good time!
