Magical World of Faeries – August 15, 2025, 4:00–8:00 pm
For the first time ever, Coldwater is hosting the Magical World of Faeries, a whimsical event designed to delight families with young children and anyone young at heart. On Friday, August 15, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, downtown Coldwater will be transformed into a fairyland. Visitors can enjoy live fairy performers, a giant bubble show, hula-hoop fairy demonstrations and lessons, craft stations to make fairy wings and wands, watercolor painting, a fairy jar scavenger hunt, a costume contest, and a vendor marketplace. There will also be a fairy garden with a fairy godmother, shops open late, and plenty of magical photo opportunities.
Magical World of Witchcraft and Wizardry – August 16, 2025, 10:00 am–4:00 pm
On Saturday, August 16, Coldwater hosts the third annual Magical World of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the downtown will transform into a wizarding wonderland inspired by the Harry Potter series. Highlights include live music from the Bombshell Band, a magical marketplace, a costume contest at 2:00 pm, wand-making workshops, a Sorting Hat ceremony, stilt walkers, character actors, wildlife encounters in partnership with Scales Nature Park, scavenger hunts, trivia contests, games, and a Lions Club barbecue.
