Our region offers a rich talent of arts communities and arts workshops, with a mixed blend of budding new
creative events. Orillia has hailed nationally acclaimed artists and seasoned professionals. The summer
visual artists like Franklin Carmichael of the Group of season kicks off in Severn with the Coldwater &
Seven, Arthur Shilling, Emmanuel Hahn and Elizabeth Area Studio Tour featuring over 30 local artists and
Wyn Wood, to name a few. Take in an exhibition at a craftspeople. In autumn, as Mother Nature paints the
local art gallery or browse through an artist’s studio landscape in warm hues, roam the countryside on the
