Top 5 Spring Activities!

Top 5 Spring Activities!

Spring is finally here!

It has been a VERY slow start to the new season, but the warmer temperatures have arrived. And everybody knows that when the seasons change so do the outdoor adventures and activities. Our four-season playground always has a great roster of experiences so let’s dive right into our Top 5 Spring Activities.

This list is in no particular order.

Hiking is a great way to get outside and explore a variety of beautiful forests and wetlands dotting Ontario’s Lake Country. Visit any of the provincial parks and nature preserves to immerse yourself in the many sights and sounds of the season. Spring is the perfect time to go hiking because it’s not quite as warm as summer and many bugs are less active, making your journey a little more comfortable.

Fishing is considered a year-round activity. However, as the seasons change, so do the styles of fishing. Spring and summer time are a great time to grab family and friends and enjoy this popular past time. Fish from the shore or rent a boat and head out on the water. Fishing is great experience for kids and adults alike. It’s easy to learn and can be a whole day adventure or just a nice activity for a couples of hours.
