Copeland Forest

One of the many reasons why this location made our top Instagram locations is the great scenery. Located in the rolling hills of Oro-Medonte, this protected forest of 4,400 acres has numerous non-motorized multi-use trails to explore.  Whether by bike or foot, the Copeland’s forest’s flora, fauna and streams offer some wonderful photography opportunities. Not to mention you will be surrounded by gorgeous Fall colours.

Couchiching Beach Park

This beautiful park made our list for several reasons. Couchiching Beach Park is the perfect location to capture some scenic photos. The winding path through the park is sheltered by tall trees displaying their fall colours and passes by the iconic pavilion. With its backdrop of Lake Couchiching this park is a popular location within Orillia.

Grants Woods

The trail network at Grants Woods includes 4 km of looped walking trails. On these trails there are various connecting footbridges which provide unique photo opportunities. In addition, you will be surrounded by the beautiful reds and oranges of the changing maples. The combination between the winding footbridges, streams and mature trees offer the perfect shots for your Instagram feed.

Uhthoff Trail

The Uhthoff trail is a must visit trail this Fall for fall photos for your Instagram/Facebook feed. This trail will allow you to discover the portion of the Trans Canada Trail that runs through Ontario’s Lake Country. The Uhthoff trail will take you through scenic wooded areas, over wetlands, crossing many streams, all while experiencing the beautiful fall colours.

Bass Lake / Bass Lake Beauty Trail

The Bass Lake Beauty Trail will take you through the canopied section of Bass Lake Sideroad with its windy roads. The beautiful rolling hillsides create memorable photo opportunities and will give your feed some vibrant fall colour. At Bass Lake Provincial Park you can capture some of the region’s most beautiful sunsets and sunrises reflecting on the clear calm water surrounded by the colours of fall.
