Our headline shows will take place at the beautifully restored St. Pauls Centre. Artists perform on Friday and Saturday evening in our comfortable soft-seat theatre. Transform tired or dated furniture into fresh\, beautiful pieces. This workshop will give you the experience and confidence to complete your own projects.\n\nYou will learn:\none or two-colour distressed finish\na smooth\, contemporary finish\ncolour or white wash\nproper techniques for applying both clear & dark waxes\n\nAll supplies are included. Just show up in your painting clothes!\nSkill Level: All students – No prerequisite required.\nCost: $100 + hst.\nIncludes: all tools and supplies and 3 hours of instruction time \n* BRING YOUR OWN PIECE\nYou just need to bring a small piece of furniture – i.e. something that will fit on top of a table for easy painting: a chair\, small side table\, stool\, picture frames etc. Roughly no bigger than 3′ x 2′ is a good guideline to use when deciding what to bring. If you have a larger piece that you would like to work on\, but it’s too big for this class – we recommend bringing a couple of it’s drawers or doors and we can help you get a start on it!\nYou can then bring your knowledge and confidence home with you to finish up the project. If you can bring an inspirational photo of how you would like the finished piece to look this can be really helpful!
