DESCRIPTION:  \nThursday\, October 16\, 2025 \nOrillia will light up the night with Walk This Way\, a community fundraising walk to shine a light on gender-based violence and raise critical support for women in need. This event is more than just a walk\, it’s a glowing show of unity and hope. \nPlease be generous in supporting our amazing participants: friends\, families\, and community members walking through the streets of Orillia with glowsticks in hand\, music in the air\, and determination in their hearts\, a symbolic reminder that no one should walk alone. \nEveryone is welcome!  \nSign up on this page to let us know you’re coming! Each walker is asked to donate or raise $200\, or alternatively\, bring a non-perishable food item for the Green Haven Shelter for Women’s pantry. I understand that by registering\, my contact information will be sent to Green Haven Shelter for Women and that I may unsubscribe from their emails at any time.  \nWalk with us. Cheer us on. Help us make a difference. \n100% of funds raised will go directly to Orillia’s Green Haven Shelter for Women\, providing safety\, resources\, and support for women and children fleeing gender-based violence. \nYour support will help provide safe housing\, essential services\, and hope for women and children in crisis. \nPlease note: The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation issues official charitable tax receipts in February for donations of $20 or more made in the previous calendar year. \n  ShareTweet\n            \n                \n
