Book Signing and Summer Gathering

June 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Meet Jamie Hunter, coauthor (with Eric McIntyre) of “S.S.Waubuno – Legend and Lore 1865-1879” at a book signing hosted by the Huronia Chapter of the Ontario Archaeological Society at the Coldwater Canadiana Heritage Museum in Coldwater. Mr. Hunter is a former museum curator/director and archaeologists with decades of experience in the Georgian Bay region. His new book details the history and archaeology of one of the most mysterious tragedies in the inland waters of Canada. The Huronia Chapter will also have displays, a book sale, and prizes. Museum volunteers will be offering special tours on this day. All welcome!
