DESCRIPTION:What do fortune-tellers and benthic scientists have in common? They can look into murky waters and see the past-present-and future! \nGet your hands mucky and have some fun unravelling the mysteries of benthic invertebrates at Wye Marsh. Learn what the little critters living in the deep dark sediments can tell us about the ecosystem’s health\, water quality\, and our place in the Web of Life. \nDuring this dynamic two-hour workshop you will:\nCapture specimens\nIdentify benthic invertebrates\nInterpret water quality and more! \nWhere: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre\nWhen: Sunday\, August 10 from 10am-12pm\nMembers: $17 per person + HST\nNon-Members: $27 per person + HST\nWho: Ages 10 and up.
